What is a Sentence??

A Sentence is a combination of words which give a complete meaning. There are various types of sentences depending on their structure and function.

Sentence is a set of words that contain
1. Subject

Note that the predicate always contains a verb. Sometimes, in fact, the predicate is only a verb.
